Canon ix6280 keeps smudging

I have been using the Canon ix6820 for over 2 years now and this started happening:

Ink seems to be dripping all over the print or smearing everywhere! I have cleaned the print heads, put in new Canon ink, and cleaned the bottom plate and cleaned the rollers (twice each), and still no luck. Can anyone provide any other advice? I am printing on 120# cardstock, but I have never had this issue in over thousands of prints.

Have you changed the type of cardstock? If you have just stated using a cardstock with a different surface the new product may not be absorbent. What happens if you put some water drops on the surface?
