My printer only shows this black screen even when I turn it on. I tried unplugging my printer and turning it back on but it won't work. If there is another solution to this problem, it would be very helpful to me, thank you 🙂

You many have tried some of these possible fixes already but it won't hurt to try again:

Try a full power reset:

  1. Press the Power button once. If the printer does not respond, continue.
  2. Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer or the wall.
  3. Leave it unplugged for at least 1 minute.
  4. While it is unplugged, hold the Power button for about 10 seconds.
  5. Plug it directly into a known-good wall outlet—not a surge protector or power strip.
  6. Press the Power button and wait several minutes.

Also check:

  • Make sure the power cord is firmly seated at the printer and outlet.
  • Try another outlet.
  • Shine a flashlight at the LCD. If you can faintly see menus, the LCD backlight may have failed.
  • Disconnect any USB cable, then try powering it on again.
  • If the screen is still completely blank but the printer makes sounds or the power light comes on, the display
  •  assembly or main board may be faulty.

If there is no power light, no sound, and no response after the reset, the likely causes are the power cord, power supply, or main board. If the power light comes on but the LCD remains blank, it likely needs Canon service or replacement. Canon’s TS6520 support page provides the model-specific manuals, firmware, FAQs, and service.
