Canon TR8520 won't print but check nozzle works

I have a Canon TR8520 and it won't print. I have done the nozzle cleaning and deep cleaning. When I check the print pattern, everything appears on the page. However, when I print from my computer or copy, the pages always turn out blank, even when all text is in black.

Hi,

Could you please attach a copy of your nozzle check to your reply.

We look forward to hearing from you.

Hi,

You nozzle check is missing the grid above the color bar. The ink used to print the grid is the same ink used for printing text. I would recommend running a nozzle cleaning and possible deep cleaning to resolve the issue.

Oh ok thanks.

I did run a nozzle and deep clean before performing the print check.

Is there another solution to try?

Thanks.

Is there anything else I can try? Thanks.

Hi,

You can try another deep cleaning but if that does not resolve the issue, the printer would require service.

If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.

If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.

If you would like to take advantage of this offer, please call our Sales Department at (866) 443-8002 Mon-Sat, 9 AM to 9pm EST excluding holidays.
