Canon TR 4750i printing blank pages with just the page no. when printing a multipage document

Hi there, suddenly when I try to print a Libreoffice writer document which is several pages I only get blank pages with just the page numbers in the top right corner.
If I print to Microsoft PDF and then try to print from there, I get the same problem.
It will print the document one page at a time ok but not in this case all 25 pages at once.
I have also noticed that if I input to print pages 1-25 it will display 1-20 or 1-23 and give me 20 blank pages etc.
I have uninstalled the Canon TP 4750i printer and reinstalled it. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Libreoffice. I have run SFC /scannow and DISM /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth.
I am running the latest version of Windows 11.
This has not happenened before as I have had the PC and the printer for about 6 months.
Am I to assume that there is a problem with page breaks?
I am trying to solve this for a friend.
