I purchased a new IMAC recently and the Canon Pixma MG5320 will not scan directly to the computer. In the past I never had any issues, until I started using Sierra. I can scan from the printer directly to a USB stick but this is not ideal. The printer itself is working fine. Please advise how I can fix this. I have downloaded updated drivers and this has not helped. Thank you.

Hi jj5155,
Are you attempting to scan by using the Operation Panel of your PIXMA MG5320 or are you opening the MP Navigator EX on your computer and using that program to scan?
Scanning using the Operation Panel is not supported with OS X v10.11 and later, scanning must be started from the computer.
Please open the MP Navigator EX on your computer to scan.
