My Epson 3880 seems like it might be dead. I am thinking of buying the Canon ProGraf 1100 to replace it because the Epson P900 has so many terrible reviews. I was told by a Canon support person that I WILL be able to use the 17x22" Epson Hot Press Bright paper that I still have a lot of. I was relieved to hear that, but I'm wondering if it will be difficult to use, as I'm not much of a techie and I don't even know what a "profile" is?
Also I have been printing from InDesign CS6 because I have not wanted to buy the Adobe subscription. The only way for me to use CS6 on my MacBook Pro is to suspend updating the system software. So I am successfully using High Sierra 10.13.1. ( I have a different computer for internet use) I'm wondering if I will be able to continue working in this way if I switch to the Canon 1100?
I appreciate any help anyone can give with respect to this decision.

Hi SuBre,
The imagePROGRAF PRO-1100 is not compatible with macOS v10.13 (High Sierra).
The printer is supported with macOS v11.7.10 (Big Sur) up to the latest version, macOS 26 (Tahoe).
