Canon PIXMA MX310 with Chromebook

Hello,

Wondering if it is at all possible to connect my chromebook directly to my MX310 via USB.  It is not showing up in google's list of Canon printers.  It appears I will need a PPD file for this printer.  Is one available?

I am unable to use google cloud print as I no longer have a PC that can connect to the MX310

Hi fastedison,

Printing from your Chromebook with your PIXMA MX310 directly connected via USB is not supported.  Your PIXMA MX310 must be connected to a Windows or Mac computer and then set up as a Classic Printer:
