How to get past Error 1470 "Print heads not installed correctly"?   I have followed the instructions; but the problem remains.   It all started with a jambed paper.

Understanding Error 1470 for Canon PIXMA G7020

Error 1470 on the Canon PIXMA G7020 indicates an issue with the print head installation. This error typically occurs when the print head is not properly installed or secured.

Steps to Resolve Error 1470

  1. Check Print Head Installation

    • Ensure the print head is correctly seated in its slot.
    • Push the print head locking cover firmly to secure it.
  2.  After removing the head Inspect for Protective Materials

    • Remove any orange labels or protective tape from the print head.
    • Check for any scraps of paper under the head.
    • These materials can prevent proper installation and function.
  3. Close the Scanning Unit

    • Gently close the scanning unit or cover after checking the print head.
    • Ensure it is closed securely to avoid further errors.

Did that.  Issue is not resolved.

There seems to be only three things to try as Canon says here, two and three in somewhat reverse order it seems to me.
