Our MX472 printer is about 2 months old. We had a paper jam yesterday and removed the paper. It was torn, but we believe we removed all pieces. We inspected it from the front and the rear, and could not find anymore traces of paper.
Unfortunately, it is printing poorly and appears off track.
We tried the maintenance tools to align the heads, but the paper stuck and gave us the 5100 error. We removed it easily, without tearing. The same thing happened twice again. We printed a nozzel check and it seemed fine, but printing documents were still off track.
At one point during maintenance, we were instructed to insert the print results in the scan tray, but we received a scan error 2800.
Are there any other items to check other than bits of paper in the printer? We can't find any.

We would love to find a solution to this before we have to buy a new printer. Does Canon support check our posts?
