Canon MG5550 Printer: Ink cartridges are full but will not print properly

Hi, 

I'm having trouble printing with my MG5550 model. My canon ink cartridges are full (all packaging removed and inserted correctly) and my printer is feeding paper through to print, except little to no ink is coming out.

I have done a nozzle print test, and the black and blue colours are missing, while the other colours are very faint.

I have tried doing several cleanings on the setup, but this has not helped the problem.

I would be really grateful if anyone can help! I need my printer for my university work.

Canon PIXMA MG5550 Manual advise following solutions to thier users:

• Make your printer drivers updated
• Try to restart your printer and print again after some time
• Makev sure you are using ink cartridges and paper set of canon only
• The print head of ink cartridges should not be clogged
• Ink cartrigdes shouuld be properly vented in printer
