Canon MG5140 the ink is not being recognized

hello please reply me as possible

i had bought a set of refillable ink from ali express

even before filling it it was okay when i had put in my printer

after filling the black ink the big one the ink was coming out while i was refilling it 

i stopped putting ink in it 

i put it in the printer and it said to me that the ink is not being recognized 

when i started to take printouts i was not able 

When i did the same for pink it showed me the same thing 

What should i do please?

I'm trying to figure that out and when I do, I will reply back. If you ask Canon, they will say it is because you didn't use genuine Canon ink. I'm using genuine Canon ink and it is doing the same thing. I'm sure it is some sort of reset but that is complicated. I will keep searching and write back.

Ok, so after a lot of trouble, I found that my ink cartridge was low after all. For yours, if you have new cartridges, you need to do a reset. The new ink is not automatically detected--stupid printer. You need to follow these steps in order:

 

With printer on, remove cartridge.

Push reset or stop button, whichever you have.

Turn off printer. I unplugged mine for a minute to be sure.

Turn printer back on.

Replace ink cartridge.

It should work.

If not, let me know and I'll see what else I can think of.
