Canon Pixma IP7250 tells me to load 6 x 4 paper even when there is sufficient 6 x 4 glossy photo paper in the tray. Ive never had any trouble until now and am using my usual brand of paper.

Open the folder containing the photos you want to print in Windows Explorer, right click one of the selected photos and choose print from the menu that appears,
This then shows the print control you will recognize from your old windows days:
in the 'Paper size' dropdown, select 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 in) enjoy the [link removed per forum guidelines] to your photo smoothly
