My discussion is about the color printer head on a Pixma TS9520 printer.
Hello, I recently needed to clean the printer head. In doing so, I accidently pulled on the bracket at the back end of the cartridge holder, which held the electrical ribbons and indicated which color went where. I can't get it to snap back on and seem to be banging up the power ribbons. There is no discussion anywhere that I can find that illustrates this problem. I don't know how it should re-insert nor how it should hold onto the white ribbons. It will not snap back on to allow the ink cartridge holder to ride freely, side to side. I don't want to damage the ribbons any further. There is also a tension flange that sticks out from it and I can't figure out where that should insert. 😣 Obviously, I could use some thorough instructions on how to re-insert this bracket. Any takers? Thank you in advance. Eugene
