2 issues with NG7720 printer

I have had an MG7720 printer for a while now and havebeen pleaased witnh it.

2 issues have developed recently.

I a,m using it witgh a Macbook Air, O/S 10.13.6

Printer Proxy is 13.6.1

Issue 1) Now, faiurly frequently I get asked if I want to install the printer software (already installed on this Mac).  Why?

Issue 2) More recently, the printer will ONLy print one-sided, EVEN if 2-sided printing is selected in thepreferences.  Is there a plist or omethgig similsr which has become corrupted?  Upuntil a couple of weeks ago 2-sided printing worked perfectly.  THat saved me paper 🙂

I have tried deleting all printers on the computer and let it install the drivers hgain - no chnge in either issue.

Hi mhobart,

When you re-add the printer, are you selecting "Bonjour Multifunciton" or are you selecting the "IJ Network" listing in the Add window?
