I just updated my operating system to Windows 11, and now my PowerShot SX160IS cannot be opened. The software that worked last week will not recognize my camera now...help?

I have been using Image Browser with Windows 10. I upgraded my system to Windows 11, and now it won't recognize the camera. I am taking my SD card out and putting it in my computer to upload photos, but that is very time consuming. I cannot find my original software disc for the Cannon SX160IS, and I'm not sure ir that would help. Any other solutions to my issue?.

Are you talking about just connecting camera to computer with a USB cable and the camera does not show up as a drive in Windows? Or some program, that may not be Windows 11-compatible?

ImageBrowser is an obsolete application.Does it open in Windows 11 at all?
DOES your camera show up as a drive in Windows 11? If it does, open the drive, open the DCIM folder, and you will see your photo files. Move them to your computer wherever you want them.
