I am using the android app to send gps data to my R50 and its working fine. But each time i turn the camera off and on again, the camera gets disconnected and i need to open the camera app again. I removed all the restrictions from my phone and the app remains open. But whenever the camera change state from on to off or off to on, i need to reopen the app. This happens both in Bluetooth and wifi.
Are there any settings to change on my camera to stop it from disconnecting?

Hello SialoS,
Location information is no longer acquired once the camera is powered off. Since the camera and phone are connected via Bluetooth, reopening the app allows the connection to be re-established. There is no setting to adjust for that unfortunately.

Yes but this is how its designed? Every time you open the camera you also need to open your phone? Lets see a scenario. You go for a walk and you like something and you want to take a picture. You open your camera and your phone so you have the location data. You take the picture, close the camera and move on. After a couple of minutes you see something else you want to take a picture of. You open the camera but the phone is no longer connected. And you also need to open your phone. Its like a never ending extra step. Is this how its envisioned or i am missing something?
