Where is the 'forward' button in DPP4?

Pretty simple question really. When making changes in an editing program it's super helpful to jump back and forward to better judge the changes made. Yet i cant find the 'forward' function in DPP4. There seems to be no button for it at all

There is no such thing as a forward button in DPP. The way to compare before and after is only for the whole image using the before and after preview display. You can put an image side by side with the previously saved version.

Choose Preview > Before/after layout to select one of the four ways of showing the before and after effect.

Many thanks Brian. Not sure if i'm different to most, but i need that before/after function to edit well.
I've tried that side by side feature a little.Much better! Now at least DPP4 is usable.
I think it extraordinary Canon don't include a history states function. The tablet version seems to have it in some form- four history states apparently? Not sure what that means.
Even a 20yo version of PS elements can have hundreds of history steps
