For the most part the update seems to offer a slightly larger frame size for my 4000D but I was using it with the previous version of webcam utility for mac without any drop out issues.
I'm wondering if its a frame rate thing, I belive zoom will be 25fps and the utility as far as i know only supports 30fps.
I also notice actually the physical connection on my camera USB, when touched will trigger the issue, does anyone else have any insights on this?
Cheers,
Stef

did you ever find a solution to this? I'm experiencing the same exact issue, but in OBS instead of Zoom.

No, never had the issue with webcam utility ver 0.9.0 and unfortunately didn't keep it after downloading.
