Power Shot SD630 Digital ELPH - How to Add Photos to Laptop

I have this camera and have not used it in years.  I just started it up and wanted to add my photos to my laptop but do not seem to have the software disc.

What computer and OS?

If you have the cable you should just be able to plug it in, no Canon Software required - especially on a Mac, just run Image Capture.

Though often a card reader is the easiest bet. You might have a card slot on your computer already.

I connect the cable but laptop didn't recognize camera.  I did take your suggestion to use the card slot and that worked very well.
