Dear All,

I have brought Canon 5DS in october 2015. I had been using DPP software which allowed me to convert RAW files into JPEG. I have also used HDR option as well.

lately, when i try to do this, batch process do not process at all, if i use Start HDR , it also do not create, just keep processing.

I am not able to process any RAW file now.

i had searched a lot on google but no results. today i came to know about this canon community

Requesting your help.

Regards

Amit

DPP 4 tends to be a resource hog. It's slow, and I suspect it of having memory leaks. So be sure that you run it on a computer with a fast 64-bit processor and plenty (6 GB or more) of memory.

DPP 3 seems a lot more efficient, but lacks a number of nice features found in DPP 4.

Bob is right about the speed issue. Can you process one image OK?

You can select Batch Processing with just one image to determine if its being overloaded by many images.

What's the answer to his question?  Can DPP perform a regular RAW to JPEG conversion, or not?

Will process RAW into JPEG or TIFF.

For folks that prefer the RAW processing of DPP it is possible to convert and have Photoshop or Lightroom accept the file and software will open.
