Hello,
I recently updated my MacOS to the Tahoe version (dumb on my part), and my Canon M50 no longer works as a viable streaming option. There are no drivers available for this OS (as of Dec. 20, 2025). It's been over three months since Tahoe OS was launched (September 15, 2025). Do you have an expected timeline from Canon for an updated driver to fix this issue? This one really hurt, as I stream and film content constantly using my M50 as a webcam and would never have updated the OS had I known there was no updated driver for this long-standing Canon camera. You would think 3 months would be enough time to develop the necessary firmware/drivers to make the M50 compatible with the Tahoe OS. Before I buy a cheap 4k camera to cope with, does someone at Canon have at least an updated timeframe for the firmware to drop? TIA
