Camera connect will not connect eos 6d to 2nd android phone

I downloaded Camera Connect App from PlayStore on my second android phone. The phone sees the camera wifi but I can't connect them with the app. Works great with my other phone. Even tried turning off the first phone. The Camera Connect in PlayStore is the old version with no updates available. Where can I get the l'attestato version? Thanks

For Android, the latest version of CC is 3.5.11.15 (build 1455).  What version do you have?

If you are using VPN by Google, this will keep cameras from connecting to your device. connection

The app that I just downloaded from Play Store is Vrrsion 3.1.20.57 ( build 1397). Thr version on the phone that works IS 3.5.11.15 (build 1455). No VPN. What I also find strange is that the just downloaded app doesn't ask for my camera connect id.

Are you trying to connect to both phones simultaneously? The camera can connect to only one phone at a time. Your need to have only one phone connected at a time.

The same holds true when you connect the camera to a computer.  Only one app at a time is able to connect and communicate with the camera.  Any other apps that communicate with the camera must be closed.

These are the limitations of the communication protocol, not the camera.

Thanks guys. I just found out why it doesn't work. My old phone is a Huawei with Android 10. Camera Connect requires at least Androud 12 and since the Huawei is a old model, Android can't be updated. Guess I'll just have to buy a newer refurbished Samsung or whatever.
