G7 X transfer to MacBook Pro

I have tried all different ways to try and transfer the film on my G7 X to my MacBook. I attempted to receive the link but cannot get the camera to send me the 4 digit code. There's not any updated, easy to follow guides 😕 

I can get it to connect to my phone through the Camera Connect App, but it transfers as images and I hardly have space as is. I really need it to transfer directly to my laptop.

Get a USB cable, turn off Wifi, and use Image Capture to transfer the images.

Some laptops have a card reader, you could use that, too.
