EOS Utility stopped working (version 2.13.10.0 on windows 10)

Greg1

Hi I am using EOS utilty version 2.13.10.0 on windows 10 for more than 6 months on 2 different computers with excatly same settings for remote shooting with Canon EOS 100D directly connected to the PC with USB cable.

2 days ago the EOS Utility stopped launching at the start of the PC on one of my computers, I got the message "EOS Utility stopped working" and need to close the program. I uninstalled and intalled again the program but without success.

Is there a newer version that I can use?

I absolutely need to recover this program as it is part of my routine work. I cannot work without this tool.

Please help it is urgent, I have to recover this PC to provide services to my customers.

Thank you in advance!

Greg

You can dowload the latest software for your computer, and firmware for your camera, here.

If this is an emergency, I suggest that you download the software and firmware, and call Canon Support at 1-800-OK-CANON.  Don't bother with these forums if time is of the essence.

Hi Waddizzle! Thank you for your quick reply. I could not find any software listed for the Canon 100D but I downloaded from another website (version EOS Utility 2.14.10b Updater) and now the EOS utility could run again properly, I feel released!

Best,

Greg
