EOS Utility compatibility with EOS Rebel XS

Will the EOS Utility software installed on W11, compatible with the Rebel XS? Thanks!!

The T7 is a more modern camera. The XS is no longer supported at all. No new software or drivers have been developed for it for several years. Your better bet of these two options is the T7. The T7 is compatible with the most current version of the EOS Utility, as well as the EOS Webcam Utility.

I doubt it.  I really would not expect it to work.. Use a card reader.

I need the Eos Utility to work, as it will be tethered to the laptop fulltime. I have heard that W10 will work with the EOS Utility and the XS, but I don't know about W11. Would a T7 work?

Thank you. I will go with a T7.

I'm camera shopping on a budget. I'm building a coin photography station. I think I just need a basic camera that works well with a PC. A used XS seems to fit the bill nicely. I have almost all the recommended parts for the project in a cart and I'm only at $295. I'm just missing a 75mm lense, a copy stand and lighting. I think. It puts me a little over the $500+ mark, That seems affordable to me, but on the other hand I have 0% real photography experience, lol. If the EOS SW doesn't work on the XS, I either need to buy a W10 computer or buy a newer camera. Either option adds several hundred dollars to my project.
