OS: Mojave 10.14.6
Camera: 5D Mark IV
Never had any problems with downloading images using EOS utility 3 until I upgraded to version 3.12.30.10. Since then I cannot download a single image to my MAC.
I cannot tell what was the old version, didn't check this as I didn't expect any issues.
Upgraded now to the latest version, 3.13, but still have the same problem, not able to download a single image
I'm still using the original USB cable that was delivered with the camera.
Anyone has an idea what I can check or change?

Make sure the camera is in USB mode, not NFC mode. If all else fails, contact Canon Support.

The camera settings were not changed, only the version of EOS Utility.
And to be sure I checked, WiFi is disabled.

Issue is resolved. Was checking the firmwware version of my camera and found it was on 1.0.3. After upgrading to 1.3.0 there is no problem anymore.

Ok, declared victory too soon. It only works for a couple of images and than fails again.
Still trying to find out what could be the reason.

This has apparently been a recurring and common problem for years, and I have yet to see anyone that found an actual solution.

Contact Canon Support about this issue. Some apps that run on a Mac seem able to interfere with the Canon apps.
