EOS Utility 3 Settings Grayed Out

Amoviel

I have updated the latest EOS Utility, 3.5.10 on my Mac.  When I plug in my Canon 6D, all 3 items on the main page are highlighted, but when I click on Camera Settings, all the settings are grayed out and I can't click on them.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Turns out it didn't like that it was on the video setting instead of picture setting.  Thanks!

I am plugging it in directly to my computer with a USB Cable.  Do I need Wi-fi?

No. But if wifi is on USB communication is off. Also, what computer operating system.

Hello everyone, it's pretty simple, just make sure the camera is on picture mode NOT video mode, you can even switch with the camera on while plugged into the computer, the menu options should turn white right away!

Mine is on photo mode and still does not work. Does it need to be plugged in via cable or is WiFi ok?
