I use the EOS utility to tether a T7i (and a T5i) to a PC, but I have never been able to get the time settings to work. Any of the 3 choices (notify for 1 min, match computer time, do nothing) do not work. When the time changes, I always get the error "EOS Utility - Different times may be displayed on your devices. The time zone or daylight saving time settings on the computer and camera do not match. Adjust the camera's time zone or daylight saving time setting." and would not load. I have version 3.20.10.2 now with Windows 10 and 11, but has been a problem with all cameras (I use 3 separate setups) across all PC's and Windows OS's.
Any solutions?

Greetings,
I haven't used the EOS utility for quite some time, so I'll have to let somebody who's used it more recently reply. Over the years, my body's have not lost time so I rarely used the time synchronization, however when I did it always worked.
For proper storage, it's recommended that the camera not have a battery installed. Could the internal battery be completely dead when you are trying to sync?
Do you have any third party antivirus installed that could be blocking communication?

Welcome!
I haven’t used the EOS Utility in a while also. Seeing how the US just had Daylight Saving Time change, I guess than first suspect. Your computer. Check cameras for an option to enable DST.
Also, there’s a settings option the EOS Utility

Thanks for your interest. Yes, the problem is that the cameras do not have a way to activate an auto-adjusting DST. The EOS Utility has an option in the settings that, when time does not match it can A. notify for 1 min, B. match computer time, C. do nothing. If any of these did anything, it would be a good solution. Unfortunately, they do not... Canon did not have any solutions for the last 8 years, so I'm trying for help here.

Welcome, again!
First and foremost, this is a social media platform. It is a user group. It’s not Canon Support.
Whic of the settings you listed do you use? I recommend using match computer time.
The camera also has time settings. What setting is the camera setup to use?
