EOS Utility 3 Can't Communicate With Camera.

Hello,

EOS Utility 3 "EU" Ver. 3.19.0.

EOS 6D Mk II Firmware Ver. 1.2.0.

Mac mini M4, macOS Sequoia Ver.15.7. 

Dell UP2720Q Display, Built June 2024.

All Troubleshooting suggestions have been reviewed and attempted. The Mac is brand new. The Utility 3 download was installed two days ago. Thus far, I have not been able to get past the following message:

"Communication with the camera via USB cannot be established.
Start EOS Utility after closing all the apps that communicate with the camera, and then turn on the camera again."

NOTE: SOMEHOW, on one attempt only, EOS Utility 3 worked the way it is supposed to, the way it always has in the past. Unfortunately, I have not been able to make it work again in spite of hours of attepmts to find a remedy.

Does anyone know a fix? Please provide directions to help me resolve this dilemma. Thank You.

Have you turned off the wifi and Bluetooth on your camera?

Does the USB port on your computer that you are using work with anything else?

Have you tried deleting the EOS Utility program and downloading and re-installing it?

Steve, Thx for your reply. Wireless is always disabled, ports are functional, next step is to delete/uninstall and reinstall Utility 3 if necessary. I’ve disabled Image Capture. Utility 3 identifies my camera and for a second time in over 20 attempts, it worked. 🤷‍♂️
