DPP Properties Display will not allow change

Have been using DPP for years. Recently the "properties display" stopped being changeable. Just allows the same five default display parameters. But lenses never shows. I used to like the display to see what parameters or setting I messed up on. Now it can never be changed. I tried everything I could think of to get it to work again. Uninstalled software. Went back to older version. Still inoperable. Using Windows 10. Use Canon R6 and R5. Baffled.

Figured out what I was doing wrong. There is a menu flydown.on the preferences menu.

Below Properties to display you must pick the third item

"Display settings for preview properties."
