Canon no longer supporting the 10mb storage

I got this email below, but don't understand  it. 

Does this mean my sx70 won't save pics?  I'm tech dumb.  Thank you. 

Please take this communication as notice that the long term 10GB storage service will be terminated on 31 October 2024.

Do you have an account with Canon Image Garden or equivalent?

I am sure this is talking about online storage and not anything on your camera.

I had the same email, it refers to the online service image.canon. Since the introduction of the image.canon service one of the features provided was a long term 10GB of online storage for your images. This email is a notice that the long term storage feature is being removed on 31st October 2024. 

If you do not use the image.canon service then there is no change to how your camera works and images will continue to be captured and saved on the camera memory card.

Unless image.canon automagically saves the images and deletes them from the camera, which I suppose it could, even if you *use* images.canon "there is no change to how your camera works and images will continue to be captured and saved on the camera memory card."
