During the first week after purchasing my Canon M50 Mark II, I was able to transfer files wirelessly (Wi-Fi) to my desktop without any issues. However, after installing EOS Webcam Utility Pro—and later uninstalling it—EOS Utility can no longer detect my camera.
Since uninstalling the webcam software, the camera is not recognized by EOS Utility at all. Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution?

“ I was able to transfer files wirelessly (Wi-Fi) to my desktop without any issues. “
i will assume that your desktop is running Windows and a YDB cable. The camera is able to communicate with only one app at a time.
You need.to close the EOS Utility, not just minimize it. You also need to go into the System Tray and shut down the EOS Utility Launcher service. The service detects when a camera is turned on and launches the EOS Utility Launcher service
Should Windows ever asks what to do after you connect a camera and turn it on, select “Take No Action”.
