Canon EOS Rebel T7 in EOS Utility not showing meter when in manual mode.

Hello. When I shoot tethered in EOS Utility I want to use Manual Mode. However, when I use the Live View Window the meter doesn't show up so I can confirm my exposure is correct. The meter shows up when I switch the mode to AV, TV and P. 

Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

If you place your computer's cursor over the shutter button, the exposure compensation meter becomes an active exposure level meter, but you have to be in an active metering mode to see it change.
