I need to edit both .cr2 (EOS 70D) and cr3 (R6mk2) files, but in DPP 17.20, the Edit button doesn't work and the menu option is greyed out. If I run DPP version 10.50, I can edit .cr2's no problem, but this doesn't work with cr3's. (I'm in Windows 10 2h22). If I create a Virtual Machine with a second Windows 10, all is well, so there is something which is causing a conflict with DPP 17.20. I have tried uninstalling all Canon software, used a registry cleaner and re-installing, to no avail. Any ideas why I can't run 17.20?

It seems like some sort of local problem. I have no problems with DPP 4.17.20 and W10 2H22.
I am assuming you have images showing in the main window.
