CameraWindow Software isn’t detecting my PowerShot Elph115 IS

So, my grandfather came to me with his outdated computer and camera and said that the camera is no longer connecting to his computer so after redownloading the windows 7 CameraWindow software I plugged in the camera to no avail as the software isn’t picking up on the camera. So I’ve come here to hopefully resolve the issue

Thanks for joining the conversation, Fishy555!  We've retired the PowerShot ELPH 115 IS and because of that, we've also discontinued software support for it.  The best way to bridge the generation gap between your camera and your computer is simply to use a memory card reader.  Your computer might already have one built in and if it doesn't, they're really affordable and available wherever electronics are sold.  Putting your memory card in a reader will make it behave just like a flash drive and you'll be able to drag and drop your images onto your computer.

Hope this helps!
