I was just on the Canon website, trying to find a new battery for my camera. I, obviously, don't use it often, so the battery is slow in charging and doesn't hold a charge for long. I was informed on the website that my camera was 'retired'.
Is there still a way to get a battery for it? I can't seem to locate, anywhere on the page, where to purchase ANY accessories for it.
Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated. I can't afford to buy another camera at this time.

If the Canon has discontinued support for the camera, then it likely Canon has discontinued the battery. I suggest you look for the battery part number on Amazon. Be aware that any battery you find is likely to be just as old as your current battery.
