What viewer finder adapter on a 45 degree viewer will fit my 7D? Google searching hasn’t given me anything specific. Before i buy a used viewer off eBay I’d like to know for sure. The ones I’m seeing come with Ed-C or Ec-C adapters but I don’t know the difference or which one fits the 7D

Camera manual shows the compatible accessories.
Says fits any EOS camera. Given the age of the product I would say that only applies to DSLRs.
Fits my 1D X which uses the same eyecup as the 7D.

When you buy a new Canon Angle Finder C, it comes with two adapters.
The Ec-C fits older cameras like the 40D, 5D, 5D Mark II, 6D etc. Some newer cameras like the 7D, 7D Mark II, 5D Mark III, 5D Mark IV, etc. have a larger viewfinder, and you need to use the included Ed-C adapter which is larger.
Since you are buying a used Angle Finder C on eBay, make sure the seller includes the correct adapter Ed-C with it. It is very common to see them on eBay with only one adapter included.
