Does Canon DM-100 Microphone works on the new Multi-Function shoe system on the new EOS R7?

Since the manual says compatible with DM-E1D, and doesn't list that one, I would suspect not.

A visit to the Canon Online Store lists compatible cameras. All of them are Vixia camcorders.
