Canon BR-E1 remote won't work with EOS RP with Wi-Fi enabled

Hi, 

hoping someone can help

I have a new Canon EOS RP and a Canon BR-E1

I can get the remote to work with the camera, but when i enable the wifi and EOS utility to see the captures on the MAC and file, i can not use the remote

Any advice how to get them working hugely welcome

I could be wrong, but I believe that your camera can only handle one wifi connection at a time. That's normal, I think.

The BR-E1 uses Bluetooth.  I'm not clear what you're trying to do with it when connected to the EOS utility?  Are you trying to do live view shooting?  Please provide more detail.
