Battery replacement suggestions for EOS Rebel T2i

I am using a Canon EOS Rebel T2i camera and would like to get another battery. However Canon does not have one available. I am looking at either having to get a 3rd Party battery or a Canon battery off of E-bay. Does anyone have any suggestions? Canon does not recommend 3rd party batteries but what about those of us that have older cameras?  Thank you

Is there a number on the old battery? A search might come up with something. I found batteries for my T7 at Amazon.

Newbie1st,

The Canon T2i uses LP-E8 batteries. You can get these on Amazon or even Walmart.
