Battery charger compatibility

FBurr

I have a new R6 mirrorless. With it, I purchased a LC-E6E battery charger. I also have a few left-over BP-E6 chargers (from my 5D Mk II days). Will these older chargers work with the newer battery? I ask only because some of the older chargers will charge two batteries at the same time. Thanks.

From what I have read, the older chargers will work with the high-capacity batteries but won't charge to 100%.

I am not aware of Canon branded LP-E6 chargers that can charge two batteries at once. I have bought the newest batteries, and they seem to work fine with the old chargers.

My two-for-one charger was off-brand but always worked with my older Canon batteries, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks!
