Is ther a way to adjust the gain on the HF G20?

Thanks for posting.

In the camcorder's [FUNC.] menu, select [Mic Level], then [Manual].  Here you will find controls for setting the recording levels manually.  If you touch [Automatic], it will return automatic recording levels.  A level indicator is also displayed, which will help you set the desired level.
