I have an amplifier with 1/4" max 4 ohms output that I need to use with my Vixia hfg20 external mic. The adaptors are easy, but how do I know the mic won't get fried? I can't find specs on the mic Jack except a comment that it "should be" fine with any 3.5mm output. Can I step down from 1/4" 4ohms?
