Why is that my charger keeps flashing yellow/orange without charging the battery?

Why is that my charger keeps flashing yellow/orange without charging the battery? I bought the Canon Powershot ELPS 135 not over two months and nothing is wrong with the cam, battery, or charger. Even though I charged the battery, it still remains low. Do I need to buy a new battery?

Thank you for posting.

I know it has been a while since you posted, but if you still have the same trouble, I would like to help.  What you are seeing indicates a possible communication error between the charger and the battery.  Remove the battery from the charger, then unplug the charger.  Wait 10-15 seconds, then plug the charger back in and put the battery back in the charger.  Try this a few times if it does not work the first time.  This usually clears up any communication errors.
