Where is the internal built-in backup battery located in the Canon XF300 video camera?

Hi there, the internal back-up battery on my Canon XF300 has died. I have searched high and low on the internet to try and find out where it is located inside the camera but with no luck. I would really appreciate it if someone was able to help me locate it so that I can change the battery. Thanks so much. Cheers, Andrew

I, like you, could not find the location of the internal built-in backup battery but what I did find is instructions on how to recharge the battery.  I apologize if this is something you have already tried.

Hi there, thanks so much for your reply. Yes, I have tried recharging the backup battery many times but unfortunately it is no longer holding it's charge. I think it's time I took it into Canon! Thanks again, really appreciate it! Cheers, Andrew
