Vixia HF M50 - Best setting for sports (basketball) recording

I have been recording for a couple of years with my camcorder.  I think I have been using the default settings, at least I don't remember changing anything.  

Last week, I had to record two games at the same time, so I had someone record with my Nikon digital camera in video mode and I recorded the other games as usual.  

When compairing the two recordings, the video from my digital cameras has a lot better color.  The file size is quiet a bit larger too.  

Does anyone have a recommened setting for recording indoor basketball games.

Thanks for the post.

Set the camcorder to the (M) Manual mode, then do the following:

1. Press FUNC
2. Select [Rec. Programs].
3. Select [SCN: Portrait].
4. Change the setting to [SCN: Sports].
5. Touch [X] to exit.
