Vixia HF G20 rejecting sd cards

I have owned this vixia hf g20 camcorder for almost 2 years now, and it has functioned normally. But recently, it has not been able to read or record onto extra sd cards (the ones that go into the 'A' and 'B' slots), however it can record and read the internal memory. 

Out of nowhere, when i am recording on an sd card (even the ones that were included witht he camera that i have used since the day it came out of the box) i get the error message "check card" or "card is write protected". I have tried to initialize the card, but it results in the same error.

The card included with the camera is a sandisk ultra, 32GB.

Thank you for the post.

There is a small lock switch on the side of each memory card you have.  Please look to make sure it is in the unlocked position.  If the error messages still show with multiple different cards, the camcorder will need to be repaired.
