My Elura 80 does not record video even with lens cap OFF, in camera mode, tape running, REC showing in viewfinder.
Screen and viewfinder are dark - no picture. Audio works fine and is recording and playing back audibly.
I have been advised by Canon that they no longer support this model because of its age. Would appreciate any insight into possible diagnosis and repair procedure. Thanks.
