I have a Canon Vixia HF S100. I'm a professional musician trying to input my performance from the PA mixer into the camera's mic input. The result is distortion! I've tried everything I know, including turning on Microphone Attenuator, I set the Audio Level Indicator to not let the recording go too high, and have the headphone volume up about 2/3rds of the way In the camera's settings, I have it set to headphones instead of AV. Could that be the problem? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
