The firmware for your camcorder cannot be removed and reinstalled.
Is there a specific issue, with your camcorder, that requires attention?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, it's a while now that the button for switching AF/MF on the flap display an the custom buttom+dial at the back of the camera have stopped working. When I press them, they don't trigger the switch. For this reason I was thinking to try reinstall the firmware.
Is this a known issue among those cameras? If so, what can be causing it?
